Not much progress. Just putting things in their proper place. Finishing the trailer and the tow rig.

Not much to post. Built a big ugly square tube driveline with 1350 joints for the front. Need to modify the crossmember now to allow it enough room to work. Wired up my Rigid Duelly LEDs and they are bright as hell! Also moved the truck inside so i can work on it around the clock!!

New headers for after the hydro swap
going to weld up the beadlocks and get them situated. Have to modify the crossmember for the 1350 driveline cuz it hits now. Have to seal up the dipstick cuz its generated a leak. Have a bunch of little things to complete but its almost ready for some action.

What kind of headers are those? Are they stainless steel? I like 'em!

They are ceramic coated 55-57 Chevy fenderwell headers from speedway motorsports. They wont work with stock steering, they hit the steering shaft from the column to the box. Mine are for after the full hydro setup

Did some work on the truck this weekend, pulled the rear end apart to put in the spool.
Found some problems
The spider gears and races were shot, so were the side gears
Dropping the spool in
Welded up the beadlocks
Then painted them all
Bolted them all up
Then after 6 hours of work, we finished em off and i washed all the soap off
Then I stuck em on the truck
The wife painted the grill and driveline
Showin m DIY4x love!!

Nah, I dont want it to get dirty. Mudding is for retards....I like it better sitting in my driveway looking pretty. hahaha just kidding, hopefully taking out this weekend to go sling some mud!! Did you grind down the welds? In the painted picture it sure doesn't look like it. Could be the picture. The surface needs to be flat to seal right.

Yes I dusted them down and the sealed just fine. I went over them 3 times with soapy water to make sure they sealed well.
