Ive bought plenty of grade 8 stuff by the pound too, and cant ever remember a failure, but I wonder where are they made and how do they test compared to Fastenal, Hillman, American fastener, etc.?

The bolt section is straight in the back. Just don’t make the left turn to the pew pew counter.

Refrain from taking the 870 with you to buy bolts for the race car. I bet a few are packing heat at that store, it will not end well.

Pulled the too short bell dowels for longer
Pulled the roll pin in the crank for a solid dowel

I went with this on the transmission side. Not cheap, but I envision high rpm clutch drops on slicks...and I do not want this end breaking.

I'm a month away from ordering my rear diff, but it will have a billet 1350 yoke as well as other options designed for severe duty.

Thanks Dave. That chunk of carpet in the front is pretty tired, so swapping in a new piece would be ideal now that I know where everything is gonna land
