The Purple Camaro

So by the fact you are posting the reduction in et along with blowing out the master cylinder I’m guessing it happens on the way home. I say that because had you lost it at the track you would have lost it in the ditch at the end of the shut down area.

Though I bet you needed to change your shorts when it wouldn’t stop where ever that was. Better with it close to home than on drag week that’s for sure.

Nah, I could hear some friction at the top on the last pass, pushed easy on the pedal and it was locked up, so I did what any good clutch driver would do

Go it back to the pits and got it to release. She’ll be on block here soon and a new master and a complete flush of the system. May get a new line lock

I guess I should preface the entire story by mentioning that early on the car went hard left, I ripped second and it went more left, so I had to be more Scott Pruitt then Grumpy Jenkins and did some evasive maneuvering to miss the 330’ box by inches

Here’s what I know

I cannot get 58 psi, tried two different Edelbrock regulators. They may be a problem
Pump will dead head at 117

This engine either has bad or broken rings. It’s used/tossed oil out the VC since day one. Only getting 300 miles in 8 years wasn’t a good recipe

Nice radiator stickers!

Is that an old Hobby Stock plant?
