The Purple Camaro

You know I’m not here to tell you where to spend money. I’m stoked for you to even have the opportunity to run that car down the track! :saweet:

Would be sick with a manual just because old school cool…

Two fold thing going here since Rene would need half of the same parts (inside the scattershield would be the same)
We’ve both started pricing stuff, and I’ve reached out to some of my old racer friends that still bang gears. Some are 75 and still doing it. Old school cool

If the Jericho isn’t able to be fixed, still looking for an m21, m22, or super T-10, or a host of the viable aftermarket units that can handle the abuse. If I buy new it will be a 5 speed

@tRustyK5 the Richmond Street 5 speed may not shift fast enough for competition use. Need to read more on that

250 shot!
Nope. No cheater gas
It sounds like it needs more than Mr. Responsible Adult has right now.
Hopefully he can figure out something to speed this car up without breaking the bank account!
Bearings, forks, seals.
Might need a “specific” shifter
But I have a welder

It does not use synchos

That video has the amount of violence shifting that fits the bill. Was he chewing on a cigar through an open face helmet while going down the track? Sure felt "grumpy" in the video.

If the Jerico can be fixed under what a complete aftermarket 5 speed could be had for I'd fix it.

If that doesn't shift fast enough, maybe a Lenco ST1200 4 speed and a gear vendor? Once i hit the lottery of course. :D
It was the Richmond super street getting that rap. Same price as the Tremec, so why buy it?

It’s on the border about taking a fat block though

I think your dad retarded the timing on purpose, like a good father would driving a hot rod in high school. :pimp:
