The petty crap is killing me
New oil pan clears by 1/8” or so, scientifically measured with a flyswatter
Different pan, different dip stick for this dipstick. Need to measure and mark it
Pull the oil filter off to put one bolt in the scattershield the same direction as the others

The little stuff is killer. Even after swapping my pan the steering clears it by less than 1/4", getting closest at full lock. The kinda stuff that just makes your eyes roll. The scattershield bolt by the filter is a pain...

VC bolts look like 3/4". you'd think that'd be the right length? How thick is the VC flange?

About a 1/4”, but the heads are machined weird, but the first 2 threads are missing
The studs work better anyway, keeps the gasket lined up

tried to do a simple brake job today, 1st caliper bolt the ratchet went loose, smashed me left middle finger, right thumb. Went to hose off the blood thinking I was ok, it’s gushing all over the concrete through the garage on my shirt and pants. The gf is like wtf are you doing and I’m laughing.

Why did gm put torx heads on caliper bolts???? I think it’s time to leave it in the driveway and grab a beer supercross is almost on.

Based on what we know, this became a race car pretty early on
I’d have to look at the cluster. The unhooked speedo doesn’t have a ton of miles
Those chicken scratches were there when we bought it
It’s the valves to lash at TDC and #6 TDC. Kinda cool, so I didn’t bother to wipe it
