de-cased the esc and moving it to the roof.. i have piece of plastic i have to cut.. then put in.. and tape the esc to it...
then mount battery to front servo....

bad pic but the blue one is being built for my wife .. she dont know yet..

if anyone has a losi micro or losi trekker (both 1/24 scale)...
a guy danally has motors for them.. i just bought a 90t and a stroker (80t or 90t it is up to him)...cant wait!!!!

My ol #3710 Rusty. Just put on vxl body, 15 turn brushed motor, rpm bumper, new boots out back.

Got this from my buddy who had it sitting in his basement for the last ten years or so, still have the original box for it too.
 
Got a smokin deal on a new in box Slash 4x4 1/10 scale on ebay, put a 79 Ferd body on it.

We are suppppsed to get a blizzard tonight. Ran my slayer pro for an hour today. Tomorrow is an indoor day.
 
Snown is still here, picked a wraith up for super cheap on kijiji. Its got a xl5 esc, 27 turn motor. It crawls pretty good i must say.

So guys looks like I need your basic rc crawler primer.

Never even looked at an rc truck til bout 3 hours ago.

Plan is to buy one complete Rtr. Drive it enough to get hooked then build a custom one.

Currently looking at an axial wraith.
What should I do for battery?
Just looking I found a lipo 7.4 but I don't even know what that **** means. Read thru this thread but its obviously geared more towards the guys that already know wtf they're talking about.
 
Wraith is a good crossover. Crawler/racer. Doesn't do either the best. But great entry level car. I love messing with mine. I also have AX10 crawler. Go over everything once, and your done. With mods they crawl too well. No more challenge.

My slayer pro 4x4 is by far the most fun toy in my RC stable.

Lipos are an excellent way to go. Small, light and long run times. Don't ask me how they work. As long as they are charged correcttly, they are great.
