The R/C Garage... [R/C Drivers Lounge]

I have a 3 year old traxxas revo 3.3, it was a bitch to tune but now that its tuned it runs awesome. The nice push button start and reverse works real good....plus the shepard loves chasing it, it pisses her off....lol

I did alot of rpm off road parts, nice loud pipe, bogger look alikes, steel tranny gears etc....runs real good.
 
Here is my HPI Savage X. I bought a K5 body for it about a year ago, but haven't painted it yet.

i had a traxxas t-maxx first gen... stretched the chassis... put a .21 in it... all aluminum.. blue...

wish i still had it...

hmm gotta search my old posts... i dont have any old pics of it with the monster pirate tires.....

had a grave digger lid... ofna monster pirate tires for that full monster truck look... then i had a pickup lid (stock) with normal tires....

IMO, honestly, DONT buy the ebay crap. its exactly what it is. crap. axial is on top of its game right now with an excellent platform. you seriously cant go wrong.

my crew cab is two clod bodies smashed together at super high speed. dropped bed, LEDs, bowtie grille, lots of scratches.
1/2" C channel frame rails with basically 56s front and rear, shackle flip.
55t motor, gd600 reduction box, "cold case" transfer case, stampede driveshafts sleeved with a marker tube for BEEF.
TLT axles locked diffs crossover, hydro assist lol
custom 12 bolt hummer beadlocks

yeah im leaning towards axial as there are TONS of videos on youtube.... hah...

well i know what im telling the wife santa needs to bring myself and my 10yr old... will have to get a el cheapo for our 4yr old so he aint left out... :whistle:
 
I have a Duracrap evader, for my 4yr. old.
It sucks, but I modded it with a new tranny, custom gears, and a titan 12t.

He's the donut KING!!!!!!

Whenever he bashes w/ my K5 Rustler,
He grins ear to ear. :D

....

People are always SHOCKED when they see a 4yr. old,
COMPETENTLY driving a 60+mph R/C car... :haha:

How else is he gonna learn to race!???

Sweet!!..I was big into Nitro. I had a first gen Tmaxx all souped up and I had an HPI on road car. It got clocked by local PD at 60mph, fast for its time with 2speed tranny, was wicked when it shifted from low to high gear. lol.

I got pretty good at tuning after awhile but that learning curve was steep, learned it all the hardway. Use to rebuilt my motors. Was fun until you drop the C clip for the wrist pin on the carpet, was smaller than a hair, lol.
 
yeah yeah we do. this video was made by BOWTIE here, check out all his vids. theyre badass. the blue blazer is D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F. i cant believe that was december of 07, it was like 85* outside lol.

Its not a crawler or 4x4 but it does run on gas! I have a HPI Baja that very quickly became almost all aftermarket parts as i broke something new weekly.
These are from before i bent the frame. its a gunmetal gray frame now. and the shock shafts have been upgraded to 6mm phatdad shafts. ordering a new 29cc top end kit tonight. a little upgrade from my 23cc stocker

Rpm A-arms all around dyed blue
Hostile Mx tires front and rear (front not pictured)
phatdad shock shafts
darksoul meaty bone drive shafts
DDM Dominator pipe
Turtle Racing aluminum parts
White SS wheels and White wing dyed blue
there is more but i cant think of it all now.




 
Hmmmm:thinking: but how will other people know that this would become an official R/C lounge and not two guys bull:poo:ing about their R/C toys?

cool hobby, just can't afford another one! :eek1::haha: I do know a couple guys with pretty fast boats tho...

I know EXACTLY what you mean:D. When I first jumped into this expensive hobby a singularity developed in my wallet and the event horizon has been ever expanding, not even hard earned paychecks can escape its gravitational pull!:eek1:
