"The Raped Grape" turning wilted raisin... ***crash update, pics start post 600***

Warm weather only? No heater controls?

Yah trucks mainly for summer. It will get run some in late spring earlly fall and I do have a little heater box im gonna put in it just goes under the dash and push heat on the floor but should get the truck warm enough for what I need.

Gotcha.

Knew a guy in SoCal years ago with a K10 that he used mainly in the dunes. Just had a little electric floor heater. No heater core, no hoses for it, no HVAC ducting...was pretty simple.

Yah the same thing ill be running. Everything you listed is already gone:thumb:

I mostly really dig the frame boxing. Everything else is dope, but the boxing turns me on.

Thanks dude:thumb:

Ill get back to finishing the frame this weekend ran out of plate last week. I just put in a $875 steel order at work that I have to bring home yet.

(2) 5' x10' sheets of 3/16" plate

(1) 1 1/2" x 3" x 24' rectangle tube

(4) 1 3/4" x .120 wall x 20' DOM tube

(2) 2" x .240 wall x 23' DOM tube

Not everything is for me some of this is for craigs truck

Why the hell do you need that many switches? And then still have an analog radio... :haha:

This is a pre runner build. Everyone knows what makes a good pre runner is how many switches and buttons its got. None of that links and coils gibberish. Besides its gonna take 4 switches just to turn on my flux core capaciter.

Well can never have too many switches. And to get those switches I had to order in quantities of 6 and I figured id use 6 switches up eventually so I went with another 6 :pimp:

Dont you worry im gonna have every one of those switches wired up to something. I have some dumb ideas to add on to this truck that require electricity.

Got the steel I ordered for me and Craig from work today. 2 plates of 5'x10' 3/16" plate. 4 sticks 1 3/4" x .120 wall DOM. 1 stick 1 1/2" x 3" rectangle tube. And 2 sticks of 2" x .250 wall DOM. Then just a bunch of random stuff out of the scrap bin :haha: It's time to get some fabbin done:thumb:

What's the plan for all the 3/16" ? Just curious as that's a lot of square footage of plate:eek1:

Well I need more to finish boxing my frame in. I could have bought way less like 3'x 5' probably but I got a really good deal on the steel from work so I just bought extra to have it around. Was only $130 a sheet. Those 1 3/4" x .120 wall x 20' sticks I got for $52 a stick
