i havent been to Zion but maybe 3 times in the last 10yrs now, seems like every time i go, there are new rules and more people. i should have known. thanks and you're right, there's a lot to play around on up around kolob, we're gonna spend more time up there.

you know what i noticed after the last trip to UT? my front springs don't make noise anymore. its really nice to drive through a parking lot without people looking at your because your truck is making popping/clunking noises.

My widow seals and door locks are the biggest nuisance nice now. Seals whistle and let the windows rattle, locks aren't powered yet, still have some wiring left to do.

I began working on my "trac bar" which I think should help with that.
daisy is heading north for the third weekend in 4 weeks tomorrow. just up to Logandale NV, 70mi from my house. we're going out to Logandale trails, a popular local wheeling spot, for an RC rock crawling competition. (miles and miles of sandstone and some small dunes.) i'm taking the back road from Henderson, through lake mead state recreation area through Overton NV into Logandale. it's a nice windy road with great scenery, i'll get some photos along the way and at the final location.
It's great that your Bride likes to drive it. Mine won't even consider driving mine...

Yeah she digs the suburban, she's the reason I've been able to build it.
I hit the road at about 6:30 this morning, the back road from Henderson to Logandale is fun, it's 68mi from my house to where we were at today and in the stretch I saw 4 other vehicles on that road. I'll take that over I-15 any day. I tried to take some pictures along the way but didn't get many. Once we got there we just ran the RC cars and didn't do any full size wheeling. I don't have skid plates or and armor yet so I'm in no hurry to go rock crawlin.
This place has miles and miles of sandstone, dunes, 100+mi of trails and you can camp where ever you want pretty much

Afterwards I stopped in Logandale at a BBQ contest that my parents were competing in, they got their first Grand Champion (1st place) today!

my dad wasn't thrilled with it, it was his first IBCA competition. they require smoke ring on 3 sides of the brisket slices, meaning you have to trim the brisket down a lot before cooking it.
