Overland Expo registration is complete! I've got 6 weeks to have thins thing back together with A/C and music
a Lowe's it runs $16 a roll. having done 6 doors and the front floor, I've used 5.5 rolls. i imagine the rear floor will take another 3-4.
it was 95* in the suburban when i got home today and started working on it and i couldn't smell a thing.
I have heard people say it gives off a asphalt smell in the heat. But they say that if you tape the seams/edges it seals in the stink and you are good to go.

I did my entire floor in dynamat some years ago, and it's never smelled.

I think you can do it!

I'm still thinking about going, though in my Subaru and not my burb.
I would recommend doing the roof. In my black 2wd blazer I did the fiberglass top on the inside. Made a HUGE difference in heat and noise. Especially the heat.
Dynamat is made for that use, and at its cost, BETTER not smell.
This isnt' really made for it, but seems to be a cost effective substitute!
hope it all goes well. Dogs lives just aren't long enough!
How is the pooch doing?
Looking good. I'm right there with you on new gauges and I say 160 mph is doable.
David
Now I'm going to have to dig out my gauges that are buried in a box somewhere in the container. That is t it's right there
