The restoration/modification of Daisy.

I feel like most of us on here are thinking the same thing now @mrk5 :haha:

I'm not. I've known for...umm...6? years that mine is shot. I've mentally filed away the jeep fix a couple of times now, but the steering is so tight that it's hard for me to care about it. But, then, the amount of steering system strain caused by my 29" tires is a bunch less than what most of you guys are seeing. I have fewer opportunities to discover the downsides of push-pull steering, rag joints, and un-reinforced steering box supports.

Well that makes me feel better, because mine has been broken for about a year. I really only notice it when I'm out four wheeling, it rattles and makes noise up through the column.

My passenger fender has partially separated from the inner fender. It used to squeak over every bump. I need to fix it too...that side is definitely more floppy now.

I've had a squeak that started on the drive home from the Bash and now I'm wondering if it could be the fender coming apart.

Could very well be. I think I broke mine at Trail Hero, the front end has been kinda floppy since then.

I've gotta get down there to run some trails with you. Maybe Trail hero would be a good event to bring Bryce down for. Hunting season would be over and scheduling might be right.

Trail Hero 2017, I'll be there. :waytogo:
