'83 K5 6.2L Diesel 64" rear springs. 3/4 ton axles. rear discs. Boring but works!

Lol I gotta get my actual work stuff going then I'll wander out in the yard where the blazer is sitting and get some pics.

The flanges with the holes on top of the bumper will be for a future grille guard I have yet to design and fab. Also need to add some shackle tabs for tow points when I get some made.

So I have to stir crap a little!
Since you are so close to Moab, when are we going to see some test/wheeling pics????

Yeah, kids and life always busy, been here two and a half yrs and only take out the side by side usually. Way too much going on always. Blazer just needs rear bumper and windshield and rear adj prop valve and a few minor safety inspection items and it will be road worthy. I've owed it nine yrs and never been drive able. Finally when I moved here I got after it to get it done. And recently with ck5 motivation I really want it done. I've let too much stuff get in the way. I just want to go wheeling. It's at my work and I will finish it up next week or so I hope.

Keep at it. We're hoping to see you when the rest of us finally make it out.

Yeah I need to get it done by august cuz then i go to Mexico for a week and I need to do some testing and work out the bugs to make sure everything is good to go. What trails should I sign up for? I Have open diffs and kids so nothing too hardcore. I'd like to hitch a ride on a more extreme trail if possible.

I've been told that I'm a bad influence and poor suggster.

There is a newby trail selection thread going in the blazer bash section

Yeah I'll check it out and go do a little pre running in a week or two. I just need to get signed up.

After another late night while the wife and kids were our of town I got the rear bumper and tailpipe finished up. Just need to fab my shackle tabs and weld them on.
