THE STUBBY project / R.I.P . . . . . . . . . . .

o.k. are these pics better ?

its easy 2 sets of drw rear covers deeper than srw and drw fronts.

32 plastic nuts.

32 conversion nuts 9/16 center with outside thread to holdthe plastic nuts.

thay fit on perfect no mods needed.

then for front hub hole pop out the center bowtie. then open up the center hole to the exact size of the center bowtie emble. fits perfect.

Sweet idea! Looks pretty cool. How's the hunt for a home going? Maybe that's for the other thread. Anyhow, hope all is well, good to see progress!!

I like that look Brett....do they make chrome plastic nuts? Or have you thought about the chrome cneter caps?...I like those with the black plastic lugnuts on em.

nope no factory chrome lug nut covers offered.

thay do make chrome center caps tho.

but i like the black on white rim style i got.

here is a few pics from another one i did few years ago for a friend.

dam it just hit me.

my d-window rims white with the caps look like a gm 6 lug set thay use to do on out trucks.

looks almost factory.

pic 1 mine

pic 2 the factory stuff . ( stolen from member here )

rim look a like 6 lug.jpg

That's awesome! Definitely like that better than painting the center a different color! When do we get to see the meats mounted up?

I like the look of the centers on those wheels. Thinking when carlisle comes around again of getting those conversion lugnuts and some centers. Black on chrome might not look too bad....

i got the nuts on ebay and the center caps on ebay.

thay are listed as 9/16 duel thread conversion nuts or somthing of that combo.

the center caps are 88-up drw rear deep caps. not srw or front drw.

thats it then bolt them all up. i think this setup like i got would fool some people that its factory.

ah, they have the 14ff lubelockers available finally. Can you take a pic of it on your rear diff by chance? Trying to decide if it would work with my lip trim.
