The "under destruction builds" supersize75k5 's driveway of despair and repair

The buggy is looking good.

And you are a maniac and its awesome. Fix it, break it, fix it again. As long as you are having fun keep it up!

Well today I went to get a couple sundown vids, got distracted and we wanted to flex it out..well never did get the vids I wanted but had fun none the less. Slowly I am getting it dialed in and kinks worked out but it still has a few things on the to-do list.

So.. Found a couple issues the last couple days I don't like. Orginally I had a awesome place I mounted the pump and pre filter. Well then the size of the tank changed when I had it made and now it's a royal pain to service or get to. So I will be making a tray above the fuel cell, mucho easier to get to.

I think this thing spends more time on it's side then on all 4's.

You need a new trainer, it needs to learn something besides play dead.

Good day. My coolant system kept me running hot, added a overflow bottle and tube and it still ran hot. Finally realized I had a hole in the radiator :( but still had fun just didn't wheel the second trail.

The Samsung tablet and torq app was fun all day with the camera, maps, mp3's and the engine monitoring app torq.

Was fun to snap inside and outside the buggy pics too. These pics came from the tablet hanging in place of a rear view mirror. Torq app rocks:pimp:

Oh Man I`m all tingly!

I can see why you put a cruiser hood and grill on it now! You wheel with them.

Up until my kids were few months old I drove Toyota. Bought my first Fj40 when I was 18...got a real spot in me for Toyota's.:thumb:

Love the pic of your buggy on the top of the hill!

You are nuts man but I like your style! :waytogo:

I'm in cleaning the house mode. Decided the Sami and some other trucks have to go. The Sami is a blast but I can't help but beat the crap out of it everytime I drive it and I know it won't last long term. That and I have a new toy on two wheels in mind for those exploring drives.

Found a buyer for the Sami...uh..got a little rambunctious loading on the trailer and had to deal with the recovery in the driveway..with the new yet to have paid for it owner:haha: he still bought it:popcorn:

New record..twice in one day and different 4x4's..

I am going at my back yard in full force trying to clearing all the dead projects, mini trucks, cars and get rid of 6 years worth of broken and spare part accumulation :doah: the tractor is helping. It is amazing how much one yard can acquire and truly overwhelming. 2 samurais, a jeep, a car, 2 mini trucks, car dolly, trailer, mud truck, 2 blazers, tractor, couple sheds, and hundreds of fire extinguishers. Then the spare part pile, tire and rim pile, tools, metal piles, wood piles. Faaaaaaawk.

Huge tree has dead and odd limbs all over causing issues on the power lines, tree company is coming out but I got a head start and the lower stuff.

Neighbors had a huge get together and came over for a bit, put on a little show and a fun recovery too. Nothing like thirty plus people looking over a fence and heading on over..i do bet the tractor made them nervous a few times lol. Good times

Never a dull moment:popcorn:

Who was driving the sami?

At 8 am after long night I tried loading it:doah: next time..coffee

Some other fun pics from yesterday. Went down to bulletproof diesels new shop. Met the guys down there last year chasing for cameron steel's class 1 and 6 trucks for the 1000. They help out a lot with that effort. Anywho..ken bought a tank and a couple of his friends brought theirs but one broke down.

Hilariously enough in a huge shop they had not brought most stuff over yet and they needed wire, terminals, solder etc to repair a wire short. We cut some wire off the buggy that was the right gauge. I prewired a few items for the future so no biggie.

Got to wire and solder it up, took over who knows whos tool box and being the guy that borrowed the tank had no idea what to do really. Cool people and a fun time:thumb: super glad a ww2 tanks ignition system is stupid simple though:popcorn:

Sadly aside from a few joy rides for friends I didn't get to kill the car with the buggy. The tan tank ran it over but at a snails pace and only one track. Really sad to see people so excited as i wanted to go nuts on it but interesting it was none the less. Had to leave after the wiring tank issue to meet grandma for her birthday.

A very fun productive weekend.
