This will be titled and insured as a Toyota fj40 to make insuring and getting on the road a little easier.

The steel cowl is fj40 as well, I do have a lexan hood from Trent fabrication that I didn't get paint on due to running out of one of the toners, same reason the cowl didn't get paint.

Depending on how the week goes maybe it will be this week, I am pretty busy though.

Soon.. We be jammin!

Tunes came in.

Solid axle hubs finally came in but the box lacked my brake brackets Wtf:doah:

So looks like over nighted parts and last minute install..add that with the trans that isn't done, coil over that won't make it here till friday..it's looking like a loooong night Friday :(

I have no practical need for an all out buggy, but, after seeing yours.......I'm going to find a reason for one :D.

Can't wait for pics and vid's of it in action  :woot:

So where I am at..

Coilover over is done over at race shock supply for the 07.

the trans guy has not called me yet though, I dropped off two of them a week ago..both front sections were destroyed bla bla input shaft, bushings bla bla..long story short a 3rd core later I have a trans waiting to be picked up. :help:

After the trans goes in, coil over is on..and hopefully my brake brackets show up I'll pull an all nighter on the front axle for the buggy

Left to do..air filter adaptor, Wire the amp and speakers, diff fluid up front, wire the arb, change out all the ORI bolts to grade 8, mount the second battery, make front consol skins, mount the heater, run lines, add a relay and switch, second interior light, weld on the muffler, install the new hopefully done upper links, solder and wire a few things, weld tabs for the front seats, radiator overflow mount, few vent tubes.

And need to clean up this mess, duct the heater, add front speakers, bla bla

Blazer..um was hoping to shoot the paint on it tomorrow night but we have or started on the bodywork..so.. Not sure what is happening there, needs the shocks purchased and put on, front trim, windshield installed, diffs need welded and fluid installed.

Should be a very eventful next 48 hours before loading up 3 trailers to play:)

I love shiny things!

You need a reality show!!! I am serious, grab a flip camera and have someone film you.

So it's six o clock, I didn't go to bed last night..or the night before and have really broke some fun parts already. The problem with multiple projects and a white board with out definitive lines..well stuff got mixed up...add in no sleep and some despair..it then got much much worse.

I got the overnighted brake brackets, spent the other evening putting it all together..but that is after I ran around like a loon. I had to pick up the tq co never tear for the 07, pick up some nitrogen, pick up some correct straps for the drive line shop, then haul ass to to the body shop for the hood, me being so busy I was presently surprised the painter there did it for me:popcorn: then.. To pick up the transmission.. Took three to make one:confused:

4wd test..

20121109_141110.jpg

Then all hell broke out.. Ever swore you filled the diff and were wrong? Well wrong 14 bolt on the list and wrong project ..

20121109_130716.jpg

Gears that were already bran new... In a couple blocks i
wore the new fit off them ..

20121109_130301.jpg

Ya... Big mistake e day before I take it out..but then I called Andrew at letzroll..he had the gears in stock , turned em on the lathe and got me booing with in the hour..spent the afternoon over there and left happy . Damn mistake was costly But the buggy has new rear gears and a nice install..again.. Also got a new solinoid for the arb and some other parts. My new upper links didn't get finished due to him waiting on materials but we figured..eh it's sketchy but they will hold..

So I head home around 7 last night to install the trans, battery and the new king coil over on the passenger side, hour or two later is becomes time for the test drive and I have no overdrive or reverse. Wtf yay.

Then back to the buggy belts, um after some progress we went for a spin and discovered the rear upper links didn't have enough thread engagement.. The axle rotated, took out my fuel lines, brake lines, shader valves on the ori's lower chamber, a rock light..all in front of some guy in a ford right past the speed bump we nailed..he waled up with my heavy 250 wall d shaft. Well that was 3 hours ago an aside from brake lines she is ba k together. Fawwwwwk I am tires.

I'll be back falling asleep as I l p s
