top speed will be 40 or so max, I think that is plenty, if not I can get a 5 speed for it I guess.
really , did YOU just say that
......"I think that is plenty" ....I didn't know that you even knew that phrase

So what do you do to smog it once you start hacking away at the stock drivetrain?![]()

We have several of those on the camp here and I have been thinking one would be a great parts hauler. One is a crewcab with a cage.
Now that I know they have them in the states I might have to look for one.

Shawn you woulda made a good vert skater, you wreck sh*t good....
that things a trip.... I dig it... probably be a badarse little vehicle for me around the marina.. tools in back...
Got the front off the ground and figured its sweet spot to slide it around in the dirty alley ways today too

love Arizona!
if it runs and drives, Id say go for it. Didnt the white 07 look like that for a while... minus the big tires and lift of course.
i see wrecked truck and 7500 and first thing i think is pass. Just my opinion.
lol yes.. it looked similar. I fear no project or any amount of cab swapaged at this point I guess!
I am curious on the vin issue, going to talk to my ins agent and ask about a insuring a salvage title.
I would have to swap the drivetrain over to my sas long bed frame, then swap my cab and take the vin from the wrecked truck to the my 06 cab.. I am ok with swapping vins with what I own and have paperwork to but damn.. that is some serious switcheruuooo going on.
I am also a little hesitant on the price with so many projects in the mix. It is a cool opportunity, just need to think it out first. I am a little mixed on the story that came with it too, I was told it was wrecked in the tornado they has a little while back in flag but under it every thing looks scraped and dented like I drove it. Kind of looks like it was joy rided hard, it does sound like it runs fine though. I should do a car fax on it and see if the story matches up with the timeline.
Why would you have to swap the vin #s... or is it the BS emissions red tape at work again?
Why are these not street legal in AZ? Those things got imported like crazy for a while when fuel was so high. People used as an alternative and even got tax credits & such for having them tagged as an alternative or eco friendly ride. They still get used on the roads some here. Most made it to hunting camps to use instead of a 4 wheeler though. Cheaper than most 4wheelers too.
