The Willomet Charger

A desecration to Mopar nuts everywhere, this is my protouring, LS-powered, 1970 Dodge Charger; built at my shop, Willomet Motor & Fabrication.
Very nice presentation of the shop. Brings back memories of 2016, when that car was significantly heavier...
Thanks, Ethan. You saw it before I commenced to making this thing into a reductionist post-modern art sculpture.
You did it well. It's just sounds like talking, which is another way of saying it seemed natural and comfortable.
It took a few tries to get there. I had some coaching from some trail to Sema folks.

I figured you’d dig the 8-year olds perspective on hotrodding / imagery. :waytogo:

Good video as well. Natural and easy to watch... the kind of thing I’d have on TV in my own shop on a Sunday morning while working on my own “oddball” project.

Glad you and Danger both enjoyed it. Charlie has the eye. The car is aptly described as a heavily sedated and caged lion/tiger/bear.

Next up is a quick 2 mins for Harriet’s intro, and then a basic outline of the Charger and where it’s headed. In fact, as I sit here in the truck typing, I should make an episode for BB19.

No doubt Jason’s style is different from mine, so to his audience, I’m the outlier - hence the personal introduction and his wearing the suburban shirt. I straight up imitated his shooting style, and took a ton of editorial notes from the trail to Sema crew - Nate, Kyle, and Ian specifically. As y’all know, I like rev levels, and what was eventually uploaded was the Rev9 video.

It takes some time to figure out how to talk to a camera like it’s a person, so I’m really glad that it felt right to you guys. Jason talks fast. Me, less so. It should be a good mix.

Once again a great intro video!
Your final vision in mind and on paper gives a decent plan to go by, and obviously not being afraid of changing to better ideas is an asset as well.

All, I've got to say here is you must have a wheel barrel to carry around the large testes. Cutting the car that far up takes some huge ones!

Either big brass ones, or no brains. We’ll see.

The frame is segmented and removed. My plan for isolating the frame from the body, and cutting the frame into man-sized chunks worked decently well.
