Like the 73 vette i hadGeez I love the tunnelback design!
It’s 17’2” long as it sits. I’m going to have to reorg the shop space. That shot makes that thing look a mile long. Those steam roller tires gonna fit or you gonna have to mod the fenders?
They’ll get filled. 68 markers are just smaller and easier to fill. That’s in addition to modifying the front of the fenders to a 1970 profile. Will you be running 1968 side markers or modify to the 69/70 style?

Ever since the AMD pallet arrived, this moment has filled an ever increasing part of my imagination. This was my super bowl. This is some exciting progress. Looking like a car now.
That is the perfect encapsulation of the build to this point. I'm stealing it.…your welding project just turned into a Charger.
It's tempting, but the plan is for everything to get paint. Speedkore offers this cleared and buffed to a high gloss shine, or raw from the mold. This is the latter. It's less costly, and the theme of the car is definitely built around the Lotus Type 39 color plan.Leaving the hood raw carbon?
An honor. Keep up the good work. That is the perfect encapsulation of the build to this point. I'm stealing it.
With some of the carbon drag cars now they are using candy paints, so it has a tint of color with gloss but you can still see the carbon through the color, it looks quite nice, and a translucent green carbon with an opaque yellow stripe could possibly be an excellent combination. As a side note everyone in green bay will love it.Ever since the AMD pallet arrived, this moment has filled an ever increasing part of my imagination. This was my super bowl.

There's also a fair chance I will finish the work to the front fenders (convert to 70 profile, wheel arch 2" forward with nascar cut, '70 challenger style flares) and head up to Munssey to pull a mold. The fenders and quarters each weight about 30 lbs, and all together the car gained about 175 lbs in the last few weeks. A simple one pull carbon fender (no inner structure like the trunk and hood) will probably weigh in around 5-8 lbs, so it would be cool to pull as much as 40 lbs off the front end.
Tonight, I have to reorg the shop, dispose of carboard, and generally think about how I'm going to make progress on this seventeen-footer.

We might play with some of this. Gabe talks me into a lot of things.…a translucent green carbon with an opaque yellow stripe could possibly be an excellent combination. As a side note everyone in green bay will love it.
