TJ's tire thread

Hacked fenders make a big difference on making a wheel/tire look smaller so that could be why it looks like more.

..

Something else to consider…..if you get 35s on 15s and end up wanting to go back to 37s there are very few companies that make 37s for 15s

I would sell you some if we were closer

sticking with 17s to me is the better idea. there are all kinds of JKs and JLs running 37s and you should be able to pick up a set cheap and easy off marketplace.
I tend to agree with you, especially after making an ungodly amount of posts and reading far too many threads. My eyes and mind are so fatigued from reading about tires/wheels/backspacing etc.

Id snag those from you but distance isn't our friend on that.

I'll just save up a bit longer and get some MT in 37 I like.

These are a 315/75R16 on a 16x7 wheel. I could easily clear a 37" tire but I like how I can stuff these all the way and no rubbing anywhere. I need new tires due to age and will most likely got to a 35/12.5R17 depending on what wheels I find when I get to that point.

I run the Cooper Evolution MT on my truck at work which sees mostly highway and I like them for a budget friendly MT. I also run the Firestone Destination MT on lots of my other work trucks and I really love the look of them. I would stay away from Big O tires, I don't like the quality of them at all.

I really like that Cooper evolution but it doesn't come in 37 only upto 35. For 37 cooper you have go with SST Pro.

these ones catching my eyes.
I guess they're pretty much the same, other than price

High end. Too much $ but look nice CE31E310-C1C6-4E7C-B768-A07298F64E3B.png
Ideal--leaning towards these..

More ideal. I'd like to see a pic of these on a K series.

Toyos are really nice but really heavy. I love the cooper stt pro. I ran that on my utility trucks when I lived in moab and they are a great tire. USA made also if I remember correctly for Cooper tires.

I like to the cooper SST as well,
There is this as well

After running 36 in tsl's on my half ton gear for 20yrs I finally swapped to tons. When searching for tires 17s were so much more available I went with them. Pro comp mt2 on 17x9 round hole steelies
4in lift, 2 in body lift. Really dig the proportion 1018211817.jpg

4.5 iirc
Happy with tires so far, they get mixed reviews online but I think there's a lot of user error involved (overinflation, not rotating, etc.) They're holding up just fine. And not that loud for an Mt tire.
Balanced well also
