Yea. Bolted right up no issues

Those are schoenfelds that I had coated. Look at my build thread, I had to cut and reweld the O2 bung but that was it.

been trying to figure out what their phone number is to call and place a order but I do have some questions which is why I would like to call them, any ideas?

I just ordered from summit. I didn't expect much as they were cheap and will have to see what happens after I use them

If you guys are looking at getting one of the TNA crossmemebers you should check out their adjustable LS swap engine engine mounts while you're at it and save on shipping. I think there's a couple pics earlier in the thread that show what they look like. Kinda similar to the DIY4X ones but with slots added for adjustability. I bought a pair a while back and they're really good quality and super beefy. Unfortunately they're also sitting in the box while I finish gathering the rest of the parts for the swap...

Thanks! I'm glad you like the quality of them :) I hope you get to install them soon! Feel free to post up a pic when you do!

I have a few different designs available, depending on your axle/spring/steering setup. If you are interested, PM me what you have for a setup and I'll let you know what I can do for you. They are ALL weld-on mounts for the axle-side, so you would have to be able to weld 1/4" steel to your axle tubes.

Why not build it into the pass side ubolt plate ???

6in lift springs
Crossover steering
Gm Dana 60 please.

BTW I'm wanting a cross member, track bar, motor mounts & LS adapters.

I have given the u-bolt plate some thought and am not opposed to doing it that way. I like the weld-on brackets better, as you can set the angle of the bracket perfectly for your particular setup so that the track bar clears everything nicely. Some setups get pretty cluttered under there and there isn't much room left over. I've also considered a bracket similar to my weld- on one just with a u-bolt connection at the bottom instead.

PM me when you are ready to get those pieces. With that much stuff, I might be able to get you a little bit of a deal ;)

I like the idea of a u bolt plate too. With my ram and high steer pretty limited for the panhard. Still wanna run bump stops too so something that could incorporate and bump stop bottom plate and panhard mount off the u bolt plate could be sweet

Thanks for the fast reply.
I emptied my in box, please resend your pm.

FYI:
I will be removing a new Ord cross member because I NEED a track bar

I want a TIGHT, responsive frt end !!!

89 blazer, 6in lift, crossover steering, gm Dana 60, Ls motor.

Got my Cross Member in! Really excited to get it painted and installed. This thing is built with a lot of strength and precision. Way better than that wimpy stock cross member.

rcfatcat,
Sent you a reply via PM, or "conversation" a while ago - have you received it? My account has been having some issues with that part of the new system...

Hey Joe, I did not receive anything from you in my inbox - but like I said I've been having issues lately. I'll send you a message right now and hopefully one of ours will work!

Thanks Darren, I replied to your post / pm. I am having trouble also but that is more because I am not sure if we are doing it right.

So my crossmember is in route from Darren. I will post up pictures of it getting installed once I get. Also I will finally after 5 years start a build thread on the K5. The only original or factory part left is the rear wiring harness for the lights so stay tuned for that if a 6.0 / NV4500/ NP205/ Dana 60 / 14 bolt build interests you.

Finally the real reason I post this up is one of the things that we as customers suffer from these days is honest to god customer service. Darren has gone above and beyond what I would expect from anyone, I can't express the thanks enough, thanks man.

Got my LS motor mounts from Darren to compliment the Engine Crossmember! Very high quality!
Also to match got another High quality TNA product, His heavy duty transmission crossmember! These products are beautiful and will add a lot of strength and protection to my project. Really excited to mount everything up :saweet:
