Made some rocker sliders, out of 1/4 wall 2X4 rectangular tubing. Welded to the frame in 4 places, with 2x2 square tubing. Nothing sticking down, to hang up on.

Sad thing is, that you didn't have to rescue us, but now, we can't "technically" go on that "Golden Spike" trail anymore. I guess @6872xtc, and I will have to run it solo some time. LOL . TBI Swap. While the engine was out, installed the p/s box brace, and welded on the frame plating.
Installed the TBI using a Howell EFI harness.
Installed a #$%^ Ford inline fuel pump. Double rubber mounted the pump, for noise reduction. Used the '89 Suburban efi lines, from the tbi back to the gm fuel filter, and flex lines. Used the '78 Blazer lines from there, back to the original fuel tank, and sender unit.
Used the original 400 sbc exhaust manifolds, with an O2 sensor bung welded into the pipe, just below the manifold.
Used the reverse flow serp. water pump and clutch for the fan. Mounted an 11 blade vortec fan, in the original '78 shroud, mounted to the original '78 (400sbc, with a/c), 4 core radiator.
I tried to make it look, like it was supposed to be there.
Was able to use a '90 Blazer accumulator and compressor hoses, for the A/C. Only had to have a shop lengthen the A/C hose from the compressor, to the drivers side of the condenser.
Found some 15X10 steel wheels for Moab rocks. I figured, that they would hold up better, than the aluminum ones. Plus they were only $40 for all four, so I won't care if they get torn up. Put some 33-12.50X15 BFG All Terrains on them.
I'd be afraid to go anywhere alone with that guy.....
Regardless, you have a very nice Blazer and it's a bit of a sleeper IMO.
Removed the front bumper, for the first trip to Blazer Bash. 09. First cut on the front fenders! @obijuank5 Didn't want to tear up a really clean original bumper. I still have it, if you know anyone who want's it. LOL

Love this K5, definitely is a sleeper. Don't forget when @K85 Octane and I talked you going up Potato Salad Hill and tossing your power steering pump out...
