You get the booster port plugged off?
Yea I connected it to brake booster. Truck is running so well now. Massive vacuum leak wasn't helping things. Ha. And brakes work too!

Lets talk about that low end power. Converter, tire size, gears and total weight play a huge part. The torque curve of that cam is a little higher up too. To make even a stock 6.0 scream in a swap I usually suggest around a 2500 stall on the converter.
Now drop it in 4 low and mash it. LOL
As far as adapting. Its going to be very close as is. One thing that could be hurting is no exhaust and the engine hitting closed loop. You could be reverting air to the O2 causing a lean reading when its really not.
Don't you want the computer to enter closed loop? Isn't that where it is reading the o2 sensor and leaning it out or enriching it to get back to stoich?
If I am understanding, it is entering closed loop but getting inaccurate read due to exhaust leaks. Wouldn't this cause it to enrich the mix to overcome the higher afr??
Getting it fixed this Friday and two flow master super 10s put on.
So I am loving driving this thing. Gotta get the exhaust dialed in as it is cobbled together but it is like driving a new truck. Power is so smooth and instant. The big power does seem higher up in the power band but I think that has to do with the computer adapting.
I took it to the scales today. 6350 pounds. Holy ish! 3Tons!!! Ha ha.
I also managed to run out of gas on the freeway. That was....interesting.
208 what you are describing is exactly what is happening. If I romp on it there is hesitation and then it pins you to the seat and just screams.
I do have a really bad exhaust setup right now that is getting fixed. Massive leaks all the way around.
Look again at the LS motors. The truck motors in particular make great power down low. That is what I loved about them. Even if you compare it to the sbc it is still superior even if it does lack on the bottom end (which it doesn't) as it just blows the sbc away with Hp and torque everywhere
