Want an On Board Air System for $25??? :-)

I am not going to be able to get any more of these my brother could only get three and the guy at the Shucks counter bought one of them himself after finding out how cool they were. His neighbor wants the other and my brother wants one so thats it. What sucks is there is a guy on E-bay selling them for $69.99 same price as FWP which is double what it would cost us retail, wonder what kind of profit they are making.

Trying to decide if I should permamnently mount mine or not, what are the rest of you guys doing? Lets see some pix.

i wouldn't mind having one but there are no stores close to me

anyone have an extra to ship  :D

My brother's trim rings on his wheel took out a valve stem in a mud hole.
We popped the bead and put a new valve stem on and this compressor set the bead and aired it up in probably 5 minutes or less on a 35" tire.

It does get HOT, so wear gloves or let it cool off.

Having used other "plug-in" compressors, I did note that this thing did not vibrate like the others and stayed exactly where we put it on the core support the whole time.

of the 4 I bought all work but one came with a defective on/off switch, at least its stuck in the on position so I can use it. Everyone I gave them to loves them and has aired up at least a few tires and other than the little sucker getting hot, they are working as advertised.

I suggest you contact the distributor on the one you have thats not working, should be able to send you a replacement under warranty.

Will try, but I have been told there is no manufacture warranty
Will let ya know.......

How are these working out for those of you who got them? Any one wishing they didnt?
I am going to get one today if there is no major problems with them.

Mine works great It took my 31s from 15 to 30 in about 5 mins total and my buddy's 35 from 15 to 30 in about 7 mins. The outlet gets hot and I think I am going to change to qd to a regular compressor qd so I can use any air hose on it not just the little gay one they give you. It also works well to inflate a inflatable matress took about 15 mins and my Fat ass did not touch the ground when I sat on it :D . It could prolly make short work for other inflatable devices some might have :eek1: :haha: :haha: .

Great

Have used mine several times. I like the fact that the air hose screws onto the vavle stem. I keep 2 of these on the truck now. I am going to mount them under the hood and run a hardline from each one to a 3-5 gallon air tank mounted between the frame rails. I will then run a line to the front and rear of the truck. I am going to use an 85 psi switch to controll them. I let one run on an airtank and when it got to 100 psi it started sounding funny. That made me decide on 80 psi, 35 is all I really need but the extra pressure helps for quick inflations. So with a tank at ~80 psi and 2 compressors hooked to the same tank I think I will have enough OBA to handle anything, except mabey running a die grinder at full speed.
