but i had time to clean the shop and orginize all my tools today which was nice...

also this thing is preety big so i dunno how its gonna do...i might just leave it this big and go up to a set of fo-de-fos one day but i dunno...anyway on with the pics...

does it ever end??your still working on yours...

thats true, but I don't have a build thread. I wheel mine, thats why I work on it. to make it a better wheeler. you should take that truck the way it is up to rausch creek. at least then you will get one day of seat time in before it becomes another pile of parts sitting in your mom's driveway.

it cant be wheeled right now...the diff have diffrent gear ratios in them...hince the reason to go ahead and change axles....i wouldnt have to go to rausch if i wanted to get some wheeling in i could go local bul im not going with 2 diffrent gear ratios...

I looked through this entire thread and since nobody else said it, I'm going to. Why would you put yourself in such a dangerous situation by working on a truck sitting on concrete blocks? I'm not trying to be ugly but that is just stupid, and there is no other word for it. Spend less than $100.00 of that lift and tire money and get some correct height jackstands to put your vehicles on...don't stack concrete blocks!...it won't take but a collapse of just one of those concrete blocks and just by standing near the truck you would get seriously hurt. I don't mean to preach but when I see something that dangerous it needs to be pointed out. If you can't get the height you need from regular jackstands - safely build a larger base for the ones you have by using a wheel and welding the jackstand to it. It increases the height and also increases the width of the base of the jackstand.

the blocks arent stacked first off...second off you will se if you serch around on here long enough tons of people make a block or use concrete under there stands...ive been doing it for years...the stands i have are 1/2 the price of the huge ones thats why...mabye one day i will get some big ones but for now this is working fine...to each his own i guess...i just like moving axles with the tires still on them..im sure if you saw half the stuff i do you would think i was crazy and unsafe but i know my own limits...

well, just because other people do it dosn't make it right or safe - as to the "stacking" I was refering to stacking the jackstands on top of the blocks -

"mabye one day i will get some big ones but for now this is working fine"

I'm sorry you feel like this but maybe one day one of those blocks will collapse and there won't be any more days - that's what i would be worried about. Sorry I bothered.
