well i might as well have one too....my build thread...

I would like to say something about the blocks. I agree you shouldnt use them BUT if you must use them stand them up so the holes are up and down with wood over the top. Cinder blocks are strong but the way you are useing them the weight is in the weakest part of the block. It dont take much to bust the side of the block but a hole lot to colapse the block the way it would be used in a wall.

By the way we just dont want to loose another brother so dont take it as us being dicks.

not taken it as being dicks, some peole have there own way of doing things...i work with what i got and have been doing it along time thats all...

yea I feel ya on the i use what i got but if you do use concrete blocks definately flip them so the cells are opening up.I finally broke down and bought some huge jack stands at harbor freight that werent to bad but even with those I usually have to put some wood underneath them.I like the thread and the fact it is from another "youngster" like me...subscribed

well more progress today but the word is SLOW...ive never had such a hard time getting a truck apart..this truck has some serious rust issues you can see the scale all over the ground...i have to go to the doc tomm about my back problems so we will see how much work he lets me do...anyway the front axle is out...

His is different than yours, his is the first year they were made and they worked right and hang together but after that first year, GM decided to change em and they've never been right since.

Your right about the crawl though, should be good to go. :waytogo:

Kinda bustin' on ya anyway, build's looking sweet.

Wanted to subscribe so i thought I throw ya some crap. :D

Whoa, that's gonna fit on your trailer?

What's the total width of the front tires now?

Get some breaks hooked up cause I know your gonna drive it more. :D
