Part of my ORD order arrived today. 12" travel rear 5125 Bilstein shocks, full length 29 3/4", my full droop is 29, I think that'll work. Parts Mike got the t case flange to me, I pulled my 2 piece drive shaft measured everything, grabbed the super duty front shaft and went on down to JE Reel to have it re-tubed. Well it turns out 63 1/4" is to long for a SD tube dia. So I am having a 4" tube drive shaft built it will be ready Wednesday. Saving the super duty shaft for the front. I'll need to get 32 spline out put for the t case and a flange
After lunch I am continuing the body mount replacement. Might do the rear front spring bushings before the FUSH gets here, just need to drill the stock hanger to 1/2" if I do.
Am getting anxious to drive this thing, Better be as smooth as it is in my mind lol.

I got almost half of the body mounts done. The Energy Suspension Kit 3.4147G was missing parts 6ea 4026 pieces. The front rad support mounts in the kit are wimpy don't know if I should use them
Check the pictures.
What other choices do we have for poly body mounts. Stock height??

Got all the the left side hockey pucks in, used the old lower halves. All bolts are in with nuts if needed, none are tight yet. Passenger front door shuts so much better. It is amazing, we have been slamming that door for years.
Got the fuel tank back in. (FYI you can change the body mounts w/o removing the fuel tank on a suburban.) The added height made it much harder to get the tank up and in than last time. I popped the sender out and looked, since I thought there was to much fuel left in the tank. Turns out there was 1/2-5/8" on the bottom. I gave the pick tube a small tweak lower, same for the float. The gauge at empty still would have 8 gallons in the tank. 1 of the thing I needed to do but hadn't really made the time for, was to put new split loom on the gauge and fuel pump power wires, I got 2/3 of that done, will finish up on Monday.
Have 2/3rd of the interior out and new carpet ordered, should be here in under 2 weeks, fingers crossed.
Drive shaft should be ready Wednesday. Had to order a different np205 output shaft nut, Spicer 44189, is smaller hex to fit a socket in the 2" pilot.

Next is the front end,
1. install new ring and pinion w/ Eaton turetrac, and locking hubs
2 stock steering arm, dropped pitman
3 replace all spring eye bushing w/ ORD kevlar. FUSH and hd shackles.
4 get new shocks and sway bar disconnect

What carpet did you order, what color and how much?
I need some for mine

I ordered acc cutpile with mass backing. Saddle color. Just the middle and front. @ $300.00
Delivered from Rockauto.
Without the mass backing is 54 cheaper.

That's exactly what I was looking at except it didn't give me the option for saddle or anything in tan color.
I guess they were out a few months ago

Sorry I missed my notice for the thread updates. Did you get the rear shackle angle sorted?

Try now I was able to get saddle, I believe there was a tan-ish option too.

New rear out put seal, flange installed. skid plate back in all fuel lines connected. Bumper back on new trailer plug wiring, got rid of the u haul butcher job.
used the Curt 4 wire loom that plugs into the factory loom.
Drive shaft should be done tomorrow, am ready to through that in. I might put the driver side seat in and go get it gassed up. Still need to do spring eye bushings on the front.
Going to finish stripping out the carpet and jute, see what it looks like. Clean prep paint, lay in sound deadener. Carpet is scheduled to arrive 4/19.

Wow, maybe I should order mine now. What is that 2 weeks?

Yeah when I ordered it said 5 day lead time, and I ordered on weekend. Rockauto ship fedex so add an extra day or 2 for that

Lunch time up date, drive shaft is in, looks really good. I think the rear pinion angle is with in 1* and that is up, put some juice to it going to come down.
tore the front jute out pass side was damp got a spot of rust pass side driver side looking good. small bit of welding and good to go, and I need practice. This little repair will help me figure sheet metal.

Think I ended up 1-2deg down to account for spring flex, be interesting to see how it works for you.

Yeah that should be a couple of degrees down the snout pulls up when you go forward
