West Texas offroad

Just for conversation, as I like the WTO offering as being very cost effective........especially for my current project which is a low use DD type application that actually does not see alot of miles per year (37"-40' tire).
I see that most original hydro assist systems used to be -6 AN, but have upgraded their hose sizes to -12 AN feed, and -8 AN return (ORD and PSC) to prevent potential cavitation.
WTO has stayed with the -6 AN (3/8") . I wonder if they offer a hose upgrade?
Also, it seems WTO doesn't mention using an additional reservoir to bump up fluid capacity.
Just wondering if if the above should be considered?

So, with your last post, do you even need hydro assist?

Me? I think so, maybe not right this moment but I'd like to add it while I'm in the phase of building my truck. I need a steering stabilizer and feel adding hydro assist kinda kills 2 birds with 1 stone.

Interesting about the hose sizes. Figured they were all the same.
Also I'm using a PSC resivor. I converted to hydroboost brakes and added it then for the extra fluid. I will probably add a cooler as well.

I spoke with PSC about this and they told me the 6an return lines and 10an feed (from psc reservoir) is within their specifications.

Ok, I stand corrected then. I guess the #12 AN feed and #8 AN are a ORD spec'd system.
Thanks for clarifying that!:waytogo:
