What’s your next build?

Once the Apache is driveable, I plan on starting a traditional hot rod build.

1933-34 Ford. Either a 3 window coupe, a 5 window coupe, or a Tudor sedan. My dad owns at least one of all 3 of those bodies. It would probably be fenderless, with a ford Flathead with later model manual trans and a banjo rear end. Transverse leaf springs front and rear, juice brakes, etc. We have some of the parts already.

Love the yellow one! But I would someday like to do a 5 window.
Milner’s Coupe, from American Graffiti!

Lol. I pulled American graffiti out of the movie rack last night because I wanted to show it to my wife.

Because of all the cool cars :waytogo:

Unfortunately I think my 74 Blazer was "one and done" because I hurt all over now and I don't have the space for another. If i did, I think I would like a 1974 shortbed C-10 to mess with.
If I had land and big garage complete with lifts and a spray booth....there's no telling what I might drag in and try to mess with, but the driveway is probably over for me considering aching joints and stuff.
Also, if I had all of the above mentioned stuff, I would take the Blazer and fix the things I didn't get right the first time.

^ True,I have seen very few 67-72 Chevy trucks with leafs in the rear factory, most had the trailing arm/coil spring suspension, the GMC's got leafs a lot more often for whatever reason..
They also had a trailing arm/coil setup with a single leaf helper spring too,my older brother had a '67 C-10 with that setup..the leaf was mounted to the trailing arm's end after the axle housing and the other end rubbed on a slider block bolted to the frame..much like a boat or utility trailer spring..

I’ve always wanted a 55-57 Chevy bel air. But at the moment I only have room for the blazer in the garage. Some day once my kids are grown I’ll probably do it. Still got a few years in that one.

Guy I work with right now is building 2 of the 55-57... Not sure which one is what year, but ones hard top and ones convertible. He's building them for his boys as an inheritance thing. And they're helping him. One will be mostly original and one he just picked up an LS3/6l80e combo for. I'll throw pics on the PAD thread when I go see them one of these days.

I keep finding myself cruising Craigslist for big old 4 doors.... I've almost decided that I'd rather have one of them than a full on 4x toy. Thinking a nice capable crewcab and a hotrod land barge would be enough

What’s this enough thing you speak of?
It's a odd concept I'm sort of working on in my entry to old age...... I haven't worked all the kinks out of it yet. But I believe it has to do with space and time some how... Maybe it's an impossible theory. But I'm thinking it may be do-able

I always used to want to build one of these... 1965 Mercedes 190. I had one when I was 20 and had planned on

1" drop.
383 SBC/6 speed manual. (It was Pre LS years)
10"wide rubber tucked all around.
Satin black with gloss black on all existing chrome pieces.
Limo tint.
Roll bars tucked into the pillars for a mostly stock look inside and tied to the stock fully boxed frame.... (They are STOUT!)
Never came up with a wheel but 32 spoke Cragars came up a few times.

I've found quite a few in great shape and reasonable price...... So maybe
