What did I do????? Column and switches oh my

It's dented in front.

I'm not terribly worried about pulling the pan but still gonna weld something to the pan to see if I can pull it away

Yeah if you have access it's only sheetmetal and you should be able to gently slide hammer it out just like any other dent. Is it hitting the crank or just a cosmetic dent?

If you had access to one of those "stud welders" body shops use to weld studs to dents and slide hammer them out, that would probably work great..it'll be tough to weld anything to the pan without burning through it,and being greasy wont help either--if you could weld a small nut to the dent, then a bolt could be put in it and pulled on to yank out the dent..

Or,if its not hitting the crank or leaking..just ignore it !..

Naw it's hitting something. Hard I dont think it has caused any internal issues so trying to pop it out is first

Pretty vague fix not sure what I did or how I did it. Just worked my magic and it worked.

You literally wiggled and it worked. I found out today the exact way to wiggle. Cause it's still doing it.

Drip drip also but not bad

Oil out of the pan.

Do to my great welding skill. I actually think it tore the pan after we pulled on it after we welded it. Because it was leaking from inside the center of the nut.

I think your right Keith but as far as leaks go it's minor.

It's literally a couple drops

Started no idea what was wrong.

Thing slipped off the jack the other day.

Yep oil pan bent. FML
I've had the same prob. When the switch is turned it pushes a rod that hits a switch on the column. This switch has to be in the correct position or the contacts won't work properly. The "cranking" part may work while the "run in hot" may not. Hope this helps

Yah I know the problem. But it's not a big deal right now.

So the driving continues
