What do you need to do for BB12?

I think the A/C is fixed. Stays cold and cycles correctly. I have to give a thanks to 63chevyII (Brad) for talking me through it. Made an adapter from an old r12 recharger to connect the air compressor. 100psi and a lot of soapy water found the leak at the bottom of the condenser, drivers side. New one from Oweongleys fixed it. Down to 8 cans of R12. Some day I may have to convert it.

After my dog chewed up one seat, we block it off so he can't jump in.

A/C is completely done and works great. XM is done also. Now if I can get the semi back, I could get it done and get to BB.

Thankfully...nothing :waytogo: Poco Loco is loaded on the trailer, the trailer is hitched to the pick-up, and all of the stuff loaded. Cathy and I should be set for a 7:00 am departure for Grand Junction. We figure about 10 hours driving time.

Looking forward to visiting with folks and great wheeling. Hope everyone has a safe and uneventful trip.

All I have left is go down to the DMV and renew my trailer registration, almost forgot :doah:
Take my top off. It has been raining the last few days.
Put on my tube doors.
Load that bitch up and hit the road.

Blazer loaded on the trailer, coolers are full of ice and beer :waytogo:

Heading out tomorrow morning for Montrose to do Die Trying on Wednesday!!

See you all at BFE Friday morning :D

I bypasses the leaking heater core this morning and installed the Torque converter cover, bolted down the tranny tunnel cover and dropped the jimmy off for new exhaust from motor back.

Holy crap is it loud with nothing after the manifolds. I played with the doubler in rear wheel drive only the triple stick shifters work great nice and smooth and easy to shift. The Winters floor shifter works great also.

Now just to get the truck back a little maintenance, load up, clean up the garage so I can find tools, work a 10 hour shift and head out sometime tomorrow.

Ok the wheeling gods can quit testing me anytime!!!

Just got back from the exhaust shop, they put the truck on the lift and it started leaking some fuel so they didn't feel comfortable welding next to the gas tank with the gas tank skid on that can catch leaking gasoline and errant sparks.:dunno: Wusses.

So I run down pull the skid off, take it to the car wash wash it all off underneath, locate the leaking fitting fix that, go back, then they show me the oxy sensor threads are shot.

Off to the parts store, 50 bucks and some change and new oxy sensor, back to the shop, exhaust is almost done, they will finish and I can pick up in the morning.

So now I just have to pick it up, put skid plate back on, change oil, a couple other things load up and go. :doah:

Bye for now off to work a 10 hour shift:woot:

Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug.

We've spent a few hours chasing around a charging problem that I assumed was an old battery killing the alternator and then after we put the new alt. on and it still doesn't work, I find a blown fuse in the welder box. AARRGGG, the splat is me.

We're down to loading up and organizing the trip down there with a few stops for stuff like the brisket for dinner. Oh yeah, I have to get a new lift pump on the wife's dodge to tow the camper down there which is the same price as renting a cabin by the way. It's just nice having our stuff in one place the whole time.

Much better to catch that problem now than later on a trail!
