What does your garage look like?

Single car garage :( and outside on the dirt :)
But I've seen some apartment guys with nothing build some amazing trucks.
And then there are some barn builds that I drool over the room :D

I'm envious of anyone who has the ability to put anything bigger than a riding mower in their garages.

At our new house we have a big two car garage, but the with the doors being as big as they are, I can't fit the green truck in there, as we figured out when we moved in, Obviously the west coast mirrors pose a problem, but it doens't work with height either, I would scrape the cab lights off if I tried to put it in there. I could get the Blazer in there if I took the CB antenna off and folder one mirror in, and took the other off, but there is no room inside for it now. Seeing as how I'm 18 at the moment I don't really have alot of say as to how the garage is used, so it's packed full of the upstairs and basement of our old house. I have the west wall and 5 feet as mine, with the two big roll-around toolboxes and stacked wheels and tires along the wall, and my workbench I put in there myself with the grinder and the vise on it.

At our old house we had a smaller two car garage, but my Dad was in charge of it, so it was pretty well kept, but it was pretty darn little. To put a Suburban in there we had to put it at a 45 degree angle. We did get a lot done in that garage though, although sometimes the little doors got the best of us. When we bought the Cummins it was a SRW 3/4 ton, and my Dad converted it to a Dually, turns out a SRW Dana 80 is wider than a DRW Dana 80. So we bought a V10 Dually parts truck for it's rear axle, put it under it, got the bed on it, got it all buttoned up, and realized the daully bed wouldn't fit out the door. So the bed and the outer duals had to come off just get the truck out the door.

Depends on which one I feel like working in

(cuz none of them are mine im just a mooch :D)

Lol I wish I had friends like that when I was your age

Well one is my dads best bud and was my boss for 6 years. And the other I've been building his entire suspension, so it comes with its costs :haha:

I would love a 2 car garage. We keep the WK2 in the garage but the other day she was gone so I pulled the buggy in to change the water temp gauge out and get out of the wind. At work I have a 80x120 shop I can use though but would be a lot nice to be able to do inside work at home.

Are our garages ever big enough? I have a 4 car with a lift and still want something 4x the size. You just grow into them collecting more cars, tools and misc projects.

I try to keep all my cabinets and storage raised off the floor so I can easily clean or hose out the garage. Most equipment is on wheels, anything I can mount up off the floor on the walls the better. Lots of power throughout and sheetrock walls are definitely nice for the noise and insulation.

Yup I have a two car garage and a 24x32 barn, and I wish I had more space. Right now I enjoy parking inside the garage, but it know that will change as soon as I get a boat. Then I will have to move my duramax to the garage, boat and rig in the barn. Should have bought more property and built a bigger barn.

as much as I love boats I hate storing them the majority of the year.

I get a kick out of guys that say they can't work on their rig because of no shop. I built 75% of my last 3 rigs like this with 75% of that work being outside in front of my 1 car garage/tool storage.

It's not that we can't do it outside, it's just that once you have a semi-decent garage (2-car or more), there never seems to be enough space. Also, I live in a neighborhood with a homeowners' association and others live in places where cops will write citations for project vehicles in the yard. For those like us, you just have to keep it all in the garage.

It's an old milk barn.

It needs a LOT of work yet. I use to just use it for parts storage, so it is a giant mess inside.

I love it! That's the best garage yet....

I am an "old barn" fan. I will stop to take pictures. Most people are cool with it. I would definitely hit you up for a look if I drove by.

It's not really my garage but the owners call it well at least the side the truck is on..

Everything fits on the truck side strategically so the door closes and a Malibu can open the doors.
