What is a REAL truck?

A conundrum....

My K5 (station wagon) carries X amount of burritos.
My Volvo 745 (station wagon) carries X amount of burritos.

If the DMV classifies both as station wagons, yet 1 is more of a "truck", 1 is certainly not a "truck", 1 is tall, 1 is short, 1 is fast, 1 is slow, both could be considered "gray".

Which one carries more burritos?

What kind of burritos are we discussing here? Do corn burritos score less because they are smaller?

Mmmmm, corn burritos.

Dammit now I'm hungry.

Thats a very very pretty Dodge! :thumb:

Before I put a 6" lift on Excaliber with bigger tires, he was the closest thing I've ever owned to be considered a REAL truck. All he would have needed is a winch... IMO

Now I want to build a REAL truck... Been searching the adds for awhile... There's a couple I'm very interested in buying and turn it into a REAL truck.

Because the Volvo is a daily driver, I figure it has carried more burritos over all.

That's a good answer.

The correct answer is, neither one carries more than the other. As I only buy as many burritos as I will eat in one sitting. :D

I SO wish it was MINE:confused: I want one bad.

As for the burrito/taco side of this thread...............

Doritto's loco's taco SUCKS ..........:thumb:

And I dont know where they come from, but a mexican dude I work with brings us burritos from a mexican store near him that are a FULL 5 lb's or more each for $5 a piece Its like 3 meals. I havent seen one finished in 1 sitting yet..........:eek1: Just pure burrito awesomeness.

If I owned that Dodge, I would be too afraid to use it as a truck because it might get scratched.

I like the Loco Taco. It's different! But I think the best burrito is a homemade one. :D

In my world, these are real trucks.

And I have had the pleasure of watching both rip in person multiple times:saweet:

I knew my opinion might hit a few nerves... When I got my 6" lift, the whole time I had it, I regret getting it. It was such a pita to get in and out and load and unload the stuff hauled in the bed. The bigger tires took away power that could have been used more for towing.

I do want to add that the truck performed much better on and off road with 33" tires and stock suspension, vs the 6" lift. I think there's a fine line. A truck is a truck, but when one modifies it past that fine line, it's no longer a truck. IMO.

It like taking a tubbed truggy to a Tough Truck Challenge.

Then it sounds like the issue is you DONT know how to build a real truck!! lol :haha::haha::haha::haha:

I'm working on building a REAL truck... Not a wheeler, not a DD, not a showroom eye piece, not some BIG lifted thing that defeated the purpose, but in my mind... A REAL truck. :D

I'm curious now. What's my truck? And why?

I pled the 5th:D

Ok I'll be honest, in my opinion...

If that's what makes you happy, then that's all that matters.
