2005 Chevy Corvette. 6speed, Z51, STS rear mount twin turbo system, and still pulls respectable MPG. My commute is only 4 miles each way, so I often DD the Blazer or bike it when the Vette is torn down for various projects. Someone made a very generous offer to buy the car last week, so the Blazer might be seeing more frequent duty.
Nice I bet you get flamed for driving your vette in that type of weather. Those cars are meant to be enjoyed, not sitting in a garage because it might rain. Good work![]()
2009 F-150 Lariat 282,xxx miles. It's a company truck. I get about 15mpg. This picture is driving to Houston from Baton Rouge with ice all over the road. It's was quite a experience for a coonass

I put $100 in it every 4 days roughly.

Ain't that the truth. There is a small but vocal subsection of Corvette owners that believe daily driving, driving in the rain, snow, when there is a forecast for either, driving in questionable neighborhoods, on days that end in "Y", etc, are hanging offenses. Sorry, but I bought cars to drive them, and while I take care of my vehicles, it seems kind of pointless for a car to sit in a garage and look pretty as it gets less valuable by the day.

Are you using that as a truck every day?
You could buy a brand new second car that got decent mileage and still spend less money.

Same thing when I have built or restored classic cars. If you are not going to drive it, get it done somewhere else. My mom's 34 Chevy I built for her and she had to sell, is daily driven in the San Francisco Bay area.

Definitely looks in good shape, that's a lot of miles in a short time!
The local car show I DJ every year almost no one trailers their car in and thats why I DJ the show every year. When I walk around there are genuine car people that just love cars, trucks, bikes and use them!
That's something I never understood about the "car show" people. You take your car from it's garage, to it's enclosed trailer, to the grassy car show field, sit in your lawn chair and snarl at everyone who gets within 5 feet of it, back to the enclosed trailer, back to the garage. How is that enjoying your car
I always had it in my head that if I ever won the lotto I would head out to Barret/Jackson and buy some awesome/rare 80-100k musclecar and enjoy the look on peoples faces as I laid mega slab out of the parking lot and cross country road trip that bitch back to New England.
