whats your daily driver

'87V20 which is also my work truck.
Making 12 to 20 stops per day, plus my commute home, I spend about 150.00 a week in fuel.

I do the switcheroo between the volvatron and the rubicon. But I am looking at getting a 03-05 corolla with a manual for the dd.

The volvo is supposed to be the daily, but it snowballed into the "race car"

I get to drive my 13 durango on the weekends.

My 76 k5 has been my DD since 2013 except for the 2 months I DD my 79 when the tranny went to heaven on the 76 a few months back.

The 08 Silverado is the DD, 3.73,5.3 and 33'ish tires gets about 18-20 mpg depending on traffic.

Then the 91K5 is the project, when it was a 5.3L 4l60e, it was faster and more fuel efficient than the 08 lol

2013 Vw Cc 2.0t with the bad ass, DSG trans. Love it especially since it gets awesome mpg, 30ish handles great,(no understeer unless at dangerous limit) and hauls the mail. I have 50 miles of pure highway each way. Love it and it's my 5th VW.

Was my 1985 K10 for years, then my 89 burb and while it was down my dads 1986 CC dually and sold it for him and just started DD'ing my 89 Burb again.

A 2005 Chevy crewcab Z71 with a 5.3 and a 4l60e. It's all stock right now, but when it needs new tires I want to get 285/75/17 Toyo open country MT's. Which are just a size bigger than stock.

Recently gave my parents my 09 Dodge 1500 after picking up this 2012 DRW but they wouldn't take it for free, so they traded me and I got my 97 Explorer Sport back. My first 4x4. :waytogo: There are some plans for it, but not touching until I'm done swapping the drivetrain in my K5. Right now it's for commuting to my office where the DRW doesn't fit into my parkade, and takes up a couple inches of the parking spots on either side in the above ground lot.

We bought this 02 Duramax brand new and drive it every day!
Not once has it ever let us down!

Pic is from Can Cans new property in BC two weeks ago.

2012 Silverado LT 1500 Z71 Crew cab. Bought it brand new and came bone stock. I've added: 2.5" lift, tail light guards, grille/brush guard, 12k winch on a hidden mount, step bars, tow mirrors, front air/bug deflector, door vent visors, cab marker lights, bed cover. I'm probably going to have to get new tires sooner than later so I'll most likely be upgrading to 33" BFG all terrains. Eventually I'd like to get a new rear bumper, perhaps mount a "defender rack" to the roof and custom make some new front bumper ends that incorporate more lights.

I'm a farmer and need the truck for towing and hauling stuff.

A civic just Wouldn't cut it for us! :haha:

That makes total since as my wifes Dad is a Farmer with 700 Acres in MN.

Civic is cheap, dependable, parts any where, holds 2 kids and gets very good gas mileage, oh $20 bucks to fill up :D

Yeah I think most people who daily a truck need it for work. I could daily my double cab tundra but I wanted to preserve it. The tight roads around here are miserable to drive in a truck and it seems like the people cant keep themselves from driving up the side of them so that was another reason I got a beater. Where I work people drive by braille lol

work is 2 miles from my house... so close, I come home for lunch with a 1/2 hr....

if I have to drive more than 60, 70 miles, I usually take the black 91 with the 4.3 and 3500.. get's more than double the mpg Mutt does... till the 6BT...

To be fair, I was DD my half ton until it went to my parents. In the market for a car right now, just don't know what to get seeing I haven't owned one in around 15 years lol. Then the dually becomes just my rescue vehicle, and the Explorer starts it's evolution to a toy.
