Gave the torsion bars a crank today. The driver side is maxed out and the passenger side has a few turns left. The truck sits level left to right at that setting. In total I got about a 1.25" total up front. Not perfectly level front to rear but I like having a slightly higher rear.

I also installed my MBRP cat back today. I'll post up a rev video tomorrow.

Thanks guys, still gotta install my shocks and get an alignment.

I'm very happy with how it came out. I really like the stance and look now. Plus the exhaust really makes it sound mean when I get on it but a mild idle and cruise.

A little update:

I got an alignment and installed the front shocks. The rears I ordered were for a leveled Tahoe so they were too long. The shocks on the front made a huge difference in the ride. It just glides over bumps now. Hooray for Bilstein 5100s :D

The Mickey Thompson ATZs are total beasts in the snow too. I have a hard time breaking them loose in the snow.

Since the addition of the cat-back and intake the truck has slowly learned the increased flow and has progressively picked up power. Gotta love the learning on the LS ecms!
Now the Tahoe is pretty peppy in traffic and it holds overdrive a lot better now. The truck has become a lot more fun to drive and that cat-back gives it a nice throaty sound.

The only thing I still want to do is tune it. I want to split it so its in max economy all the time, and then all out performance in Tow/Haul mode. :p

Thought I'd update the thread with a quick video of the exhaust:

Sounds good :waytogo: My neighbors complained to my landlord about my truck being too loud the other day  I put a race bullet on a few weeks ago and it sounds similar to that. Oh well, can't win em all I guess.

Mine really isn't all that loud. At least nowhere near as loud as my K10
Stupid cats keep it wicked quiet :doah: Although its nice still having a mellow cruise sound.

I don't think mine is either, but I don't have a tailpipe on it yet currently. Its loud if you get on it, but still :dunno:

Looks good. I actually went old school on mine and bought some 80s blazer ralleys with the chrome ring and caps.

I tried putting my rallys on my Silverado. They looked good but wouldn't clear the calipers

Are they 16" rallys? 16" wheels are the smallest you can fit on the 99-07.

That's why they didn't fit on yours then. Mines a 94. Didn't think much changed on the new body style. Here it is either way.
