I am loving the power of my L29 in the 1998 suburban.i drive my 8.1 3500-HD every day and love the POWER .
I am sure I will love the 8.1
So now I am thinking of something a little different.
I am checking the wheelbases to confirm it is doable but what if I just do a body swap, put my suburban on the avalanche frame and just hook up my gauges to the suburban cluster?
I will need some metal fabbing to mate the 2 but I will eliminate the need to transplant the engine and transmission.
