Wife's 67 Power Wagon Build -Cage complete!

After numerous requests to post a build thread of the old Dodge I'm finally giving in.
I know it's not a GM but it's always wheeling with GM's, that should count for something.:dunno:

Little history on the old truck will explain the "FNLY MYN" personal plates the little woman ordered special for it.

My Dad bought this truck from a Service Tech visiting his work back in 1979.
We used it to drag logs out of the bush when I was young, as well as it being a daily driver for my dad.
Once the body got bad he planned on selling it so I bought it, and then Began My fascination with 4x4's, auto mechanics and fabrication!

Here is a "long before" and after my first build in 1986.
Yea the Tan and Red was "out there"!

I sold it a few years after that and My Wife "girlfriend at the time" was pissed because she had hopes of getting her license in it.:doah:
She swore that someday she would get it back.:haha:
14 years later she did just that!!!:eek1:

This thread will take a bit to do, because most of the photos are in a regular album, and I will be scanning them into a file to post.

That is a bad ass looking rig indeed. Love the sharp body lines. Nice! :waytogo: We need more pics, interior, engine bay, under carriage please.

I always loved the old Dodge's  awesome rig can't wait to see more pics :waytogo:

Many More Pics to come!

Thanks guys!!
Wow that was fast, I just uploaded less than a minute ago..

The build on this was extensive because when we got it back it had been left to rot in a corner of a farmers field.

Since everyone on here has told me "you can't post too many pictures" I'll provide all details of the build.

I'll be loading from the start when we took pics of it in the field.

The 1st shots are just teasers untill tomorrow when I have more ready to upload.

Try photobucket.com then upload all you want at a time...

sweet truck, I used to drive one on a farm in the early 70's...cool look!

Dig it, the altitude is wrong for me. I love those old Dodges slammed on the ground.

Always wanted to build one with a turboed slant six:D:D

Nothing says oddball like a bug eyed Dodge slammed with a turbo slant six.

But that is a way cool truck!!!!

Just noticed something that made it cooler.

If I ever built one was going to get the Fargo lettering and stuff for it.

Super cool

Fargo! ahahahahahaha Dunno why that tickles me so, but I cracked up

freaking Fargo, is that a Canada thing? All I have on the brain now is that movie....

Right on J, wifeys got a badass truck too

Hay Jeff.
I didn't take many pics of the Sub build, but between Kelly and I there was no shortage of photos of her build.
I was snap happy when she was doing the work too.
IE: painting the frame, building the engine and so on.
Many pics in the morning.

Fargo..??

I think it is a Canadian thing.
My understanding is that south of the border they were badged "Dodge"
She drives the crap out of it too...:woot:
