Wife's 67 Power Wagon Build -Cage complete!

Fargo was a Canadian only thing ASFAIK but they sold Mecury trucks in the U.S. One of my buddies from Washington had an old sign that said Mercury trucks sold here. Or some such like that

Older Dodges are by far my favorite.

While I dig my crew cab dually and hope to make it nice I would trade it in heartbeat for an old crew cab dodge if I had the money to make it like I wanted it

They definitely have a style all their own!!
Love it!

That is Cool.
We were close on the "Canadian thing"
Can't believe we never Googled it to know for sure.

Thanks yellowK20!

As found by the wife!

I initially refused to pay the $1200.00 the guy wanted, and left.:doah:

The old truck was in baaaddd shape!

Kelly went back the next day with my Dad and paid the guy Cash without me knowing.

The farmer (the large fellow) was happy to see it go and was very helpful moving it and loading it.

No motor or tani, but the divorced 205 was still there.

Wife and my Dad bringing it home.

The trailer was the only one they could come up with on short notice.:doah:

Didn't even get pulled over during the 3/4 hour drive home with it.

When I got home from work I had the surprise of finding the trailer loaded like that in front of our house, and a VERY excited Wife!!:D

It was destined for the garage.

Unload, push up the lane-way and eventually into the garage (for the next few years).

Bad part is trying to get anything done around the house is near impossible because we would both rather be wrenching on the trucks.:D

1 ton Axles scored!

Dana 60 front
Corporate 14 bolt full floater for the rear.
4:10's in good shape, and low enough to go with the trani she ordered.

Torn down and prepped for paint by my partner in crime.:D

some new parts from High Impact.

NV4500
Atlas 2--4.3:1

Wife knew what parts she wanted from the start.
Budget meant we could only do so much at a time.

Uhm......

No fair posting a build thread where the truck is already completely finished.

In the last two days, you found a basketcase.... brought it home, cleaned it up, pulled the body, did engine work, fixed up axles, and will probably have it in final paint by the end of this week.

It makes the rest of us look bad. REALLY bad.

Haha:haha:
In all honesty that is why I posted the Pic of it finished, at the start, so those who didn't want to "waste" the time to see the transformation wouldn't need to.

Believe it or not the build had to span almost 8 years due to time and financial strains.:doah:

I'd never do anything to make a CK5'er look bad...
