Wife's 67 Power Wagon Build -Cage complete!

Thanks Guys

It will be great to do some wheeling with you guys again this year!

Oddly enough Kelly and I enjoy the drive to and from the places we wheel.

I picked up a set of those inner airlocks a couple years ago, never installed them in anything, they are 15" and now everything I run has 16" wheels lol.

Someone would buy them...

Still plenty of small rigs running 15" wheels.
They would still be worth something.

Thanks

I hate MOPAR.

I like this rig.

Martin
That says a lot Martin!

I like the skinnier tire more than the big balloon look.

For any that didn't notice, the tires are 41.5 x 13.5 PitBull Rocker radials for 16.5 wheels.
They actually measure 41.75'' tall compared to the 42" bias ply TSL's, well worn at barely 40'' tall
Kelly is very happy with the height.:D

The rugged, purpose built design of the modified wheels makes the truck look very different than it does with the aluminum Turbines
It's worn them since back in the 80's when it was my daily driver.

Tire bulge

This is the part Kelly isn't too sure about.

The 42" PitBull bias ply's I run are very wide if you look at the stick out on the 9.75" wheel
My tires are out 3.5'' on a 9.75" wheel
The radials only stick our 1.875"

I think Kelly just misses the look from the early years we spent building the old PW around the 42" TSL's and Turbines.

I think the ride, and the performance she will get out of those tires will make it worth it.

I'm with her on this one... the look was much better before... function over form matters a lot on a trip though... may be a decent trade off.... but the look is definitely not as good. the wheels painted a different color may help some :dunno: the black isn't right IMHO
