WL: 1975 K5 (previously "Another new (to me) K5.")

I should move to Ne, so I can live where square body trucks are falling from the skies, and hiding behind every blade of grass.

Is there much for electrician jobs there?

Put the hood on this morning. It's lightly kinked.

Then I power washed it when I was in town to try to get some of the 25 years worth of tree line off of it.

Yeah. That's in the plans. I only have one spring on it right now.

I does look good with the new wheels and all.

Is that a factory mirror? That style is kinda small but I have always liked them.

It's a 402, and for whatever reason, when Chevrolet put 402's in pickups, they called them 400's.

Duh Adam. Marty actually told me he was thinking of "fixing it up" meaning fix the rust and paint it.

When they are in tip top shape they can hope to obtain the status of useless. Mine are not in tip top shape.

I swear to God!!!!!!!!!!!!! One week I am going to drive up to Nebraska or Cali or the Dakota's with my car hauler and a big wad of cash.....

You guy's come by 4x4's and good parts like it's nothing.....

1 ton axles.. Eh....no problem...what ratio you need...
Big blocks.... Meh.. tripping over them....take your pick...
T400/203's.. How many do you want...?
205's... Use them for doorstops.
Cool old hotrods...just sittin in the fields ....

****....I can't find anything like that within 500 miles of Houston...
and if I do,,,they think it's gold plated....

Rant off.....

That stuff isn't THAT easy to come buy. I mean I only have a couple of BBCs and 2 set of tons (sold one set to a buddy). I don't have any 400s, but I need a range box for my doubler. I did find a 68 el camino the other day coon hunting but cool stuff isn't that easy to find.

Not near like when you head South. I can't imagine how bad my collection would be if I lived in Kansas or Missouri.
