It's a 402, and for whatever reason, when Chevrolet put 402's in pickups, they called them 400's.

Put the hood on this morning. It's lightly kinked.
Then I power washed it when I was in town to try to get some of the 25 years worth of tree line off of it.

My first rusty 79 had one on the drivers side. They're pretty much useless.
When they are in tip top shape they can hope to obtain the status of useless. Mine are not in tip top shape.

That stuff isn't THAT easy to come buy. I mean I only have a couple of BBCs and 2 set of tons (sold one set to a buddy). I don't have any 400s, but I need a range box for my doubler. I did find a 68 el camino the other day coon hunting but cool stuff isn't that easy to find.
Not near like when you head South. I can't imagine how bad my collection would be if I lived in Kansas or Missouri.
