WL: 1975 K5 (previously "Another new (to me) K5.")

I was on my way to the bar when I saw that they showed up. I haven't even opened the box.

So I am about to install those shocks. Glenn put the boots on them. Do I leave them on, or take them off?

That's how they arrived, with boots installed. I left them, I don't see a reason to pull them.

So . . . . . . . . when are you going to install your Ford shock towers and new front shocks???

Call me silly, but I have always wanted a sticker for my air cleaner. So I ordered one from Year One. The shipping was ridiculous. I probably shouldn't have, but oh well.

Can't say they didn't get carried away with the packaging though.

All that packaging to keep this envelope safe.

Tah dah.

It's actually kind of hard to see on the engine with the downward angle of the air cleaner lid. I contemplated sticking it on the back side of the wing nut.

While I was at it, I also installed my used Bilsteins.

I didn't really notice a difference, but I also just drove it down the highway. I think putting a matching set on the front will make more of a difference. The Burbank Suspension shocks I took off had zero rebound.....

They look good on there :waytogo:

I'll get the front done soon...

BTW I didn't know you had a 402 hidden under the hood

Cool sticker tho. And nice shocks! I been meaning to ask, what does the WL stand for in your thread title.

I'm diggin it!

I got a 454 w/checkers for the old mans rig of eBay last year. Was cheap, and shipping wasn't bad from what I recall, a few bucks maybe.
