Yes, ours was bad. We have, and Im sure yall do to, county and city fairs in the summer. You know the kind, truck pulls, cotton candy, bands, booze and blah blah. No fireworks of any kind. Open fires of any kind were prohibited till the rains happened. They went so far as dredging the ditches around town to dig up any dried old leaves and trash to prevent a cigarette butt from setting the ditch on fire and burning the whole state down. I have never seen corn this way. I would walk in 10 rows and walk 20ft either way before I would find a decent cob. And by decent I mean with over 50% of the cob covered in kernels. Most of them had just a dozen or 2 dozen kernels on it. Im really hoping this year is better for them, seen enough foreclosed farms around here in the past 10yrs. And I dont want to see anymore vinyl villages in their place.

It is, that's the sad thing. No rocks around here. We have to drive quite away to do anything fun. The river is close, but that depends on the weather, and the sand is HARD on ****.

Yea, we dont have much in crawling around here, or wheeling anymore. Sucks. But as soon as you cross the Mississippi river, into "Misery" as its called, there is rock crawling galore. Crazy how the landscape can change in as short as 20 miles. In IL, we hardly have a bump or a hill, except man made Cahokia Mounds, soon as you hit the bridge, you dont see flat ground.

Spot on, unfortunately.
I got stuck, so I had to get out and engage the hubs.
Probably unnecessary, but I added this piece of pipe to my crossmember to make access to my new NP203 drain plug.
I even painted it, which is rare for me.

Haha, no these are caps I already had. Those ones I got from you were half ton caps. I needed one for my 1987 V10.
See, the three quarter and one ton caps are bigger, and have six "spokes" instead of the five "spokes" of the half ton caps.

Well I had mounted up my 35x14.50x17" Unknown Goodyear tires on my H2 rims, and I figured I should see what the Blazer would drive like with them on.
They definitely look small on there.
Then I figured I better flex it out to see if they rub.
They rub.
They rub on the rear, which is odd. Hit the bottoms of the wheel tubs pretty hard.
I have been thinking about replacing the home made shackle flips on here with a set from ORD. Does anyone know if they would be taller? I am assuming so, but I could be wrong.

ORD stuff rocks. But I personally like the DIY4X flip for the ease of being able to make your own shackles at home with a drill and something to cut 1/4" plate (cut off wheel on grinder, plasma, cutting torch, etc)
Yeah, I am aware of that, and sing the same tune, but I already have DIY4X shackles on the rear of this, so why not use them with the ORD flip?

I did exactly that for exactly the opposite reasons, I already had the flip, so I bought DIY4X shackles. It works just fine, although I will sell them in a year or so when I link the rear.
I do think the one piece shackles give you more stability though, how much, who knows?
