Not much goin on today. Removed some of the accessories and brackets. Started un-hooking the wiring harness. Organized the work space a bit. Too damn hot outside...stayin inside in the A/C till the sun goes down.
What year is your truck? It has the actual TBI intake manifold.

Very cool rig
454 is for sale as well. Runs strong. Will come with mostly everything. computer, harness etc. I might keep some of the accessory brackets, if I can use them for the 8.1 stuff. Needs new tps and map sensors probably. Some TBI tuning perhaps. I'm guessing the computer is running the same tune as it was in the '92 burb. No idea what the mileage is. That said, I'd still drive it cross country right now with confidence. If anyone can give me an idea what a TBI 454 is worth, I'll post it up in the for sale section. The faster the 454 goes away, the sooner the 496 gets hooked up.
Also, I am personal friends with the previous owner, and I know that he knows who the owner before him was. Could probably track down some more history on the engine if needed.
