Oo...That's pretty sweet. I might actually look into that. If it's just a head gasket thats wrong with it, it might be kinda fun to rebuild it, like the old girl engine hoist. Is it 220v?
I still have a few loose ends to tie up and I'm mostly done with fabrication in regards to the 8.1 swap. Enough that I can finish in one day. Probably start looking into that compressor within the next week or two.
There's a big ass 8'x4' fab table with a 1/4" plate top up at my gramps...I made it 10+ years ago. It's too big for my gramps to use, so he said I can cut it in half and keep half of it. That's going to be sooooo awesome..a super stout, 4'x4' fab table with a vice and a nice clean, flat top surface + shelf underneath.
The quality of what I'm able to produce will go up just based on having a solid work bench. I get very frustrated being hobbled by my lack of proper work space after doing all the super nice ultra4 work...we always had reallly nice stuff to work with. I got spoiled. Enough so that some projects that I could do now, I won't.
New table= No more clamping parts to the frame rails on my truck and banging away, or using my drill press as a welding bench...or squatting on the floor like one of those crazy fabricator dudes from Pakistan. I might get down on that today.
