That brandy wine color is nearly my favorite color. Had a buddy do a camaro in that shade with REAL fine black, gold, and silver metal flake. That car was SO fricken pretty.

Cant go wrong with HOK dave. pricey but worth it. and you should only need like a pint of each to do a bike:dunno:

I did a couple candy brandywine jobs back in the day at the collision shop for friends... that was THE sh*t in the 70's...

one was a standard, but dark and deep, very 70's.. the other had some gold pearl in the first 2 coats of clear, that came out sick...

I might have to go visit a somewhat nearby HOK supplier in the next day or two....oh man what am I getting myself into????

not sure what yer gettin into but ya better get into it quik:eek1: Your date of departure is coming soon:D

Plus I'm anxious to see what its gonna look like:whistle:

me too Rick...doing some drawings and some coloring...I got my color splits the way I like em, really like the Wild Cherry over a silver base, Or really like the Tangerine over a Silver base, but am having trouble with the contrasting color (the stripe color) in what HOK has available...

Wild Cherry

In the words of my boss.... QUIT THINKING AND JUST DO IT ALREADY!!

been in touch with HOK...everything is ordered from primer to clear.

Spent the last 2 days sanding off the Nason primer/sealer...they didn't recommend using their solvents (much stronger) with the Nason sealer, so wet 400'd all of that off the parts...two steps back!

2qts primer, 1 qt Orion Silver base, 2qts Kandy Tangerine color, 1pt Kandy concentrate, 1 qt UltraClear, reducers, hardeners, surface prep solvent, everything from primer coats to clear coats...any guesses on price?
