Just call me Freiburger
I don't know why I bother to make a to do list, I never make it through everything. I wanted to have the rear axle painted by this weekend (nope, ran out paint), have the old suspension/axle out (nope, we'll get to that) and hopefully have the shackle flip, springs and 14b under the truck (not gonna happen). Unlike the Roadkill guys though it bothers me. Oh well, what can you do.
Today's defeat came at the hands of the rear suspension front leaf bolt. It absolutely refuses to budge! I tried a 4' cheater bar, an impact, a sawzall and basically did about 100 pull-ups hanging from my break bar. So, finally after a thorough upper body workout, and plenty of sweat and stench, I surrendered the day. I cracked a delicious yuengling and flipped a farwell, majestic middle finger bird.
Soon, bolt. Soon. Next time I'm bringing fire!
Now I am extremely glad I decided to ditch the rubber bushing in the new Tuff country springs I have. They're complete garbage. Sure wish the new ones would show up

No matter, I managed to pound out the "old" bushings today. This was kind of funny. I watched videos of people torching them, drilling them, one poor fella spent a whole half an hour pounding 1 bushing out. After trying the drilling method for about 30 mins I realized I was being an idiot. I went and found the perfect sized impact socket (1 1/16") and pounded away. Had all four out in about 2 minutes.
So Monday Pops is coming to help and he's bringing

Paint won't show up until Wednesday,

Guess I'll chip away until I have all my junk.
Here is today's culprit
