1939 Truggy tear down, NOW BUILD THREAD

Dad is not doing well and I have decided to finish his hot rod so he can enjoy it soon. The truggy is now on the back burner.

I wish your Pop well....we understand this killer '39 will have to wait. Get that hot rod done, and keep us posted on that, too!:D

All I can say is wow! Awesome project you've got there! Subscribed! I hope you get your hip healed up okay and that your dad gets doing better.

Thanks for the kind words and the encouragement. Maybe some day I will get back to the golf cart with the GSX-R600 motor in it also. But that is for another day.

you need to raise that cross bar for the seat belt shoulder attachments. It's far too low and can cause you to compress your spine should you ever get in an accident with it. That bar should be much higher and closer to shoulder height to be safe.

When I get back to this thing, the upper hoop is going to be lowered. As short as I am, I still hit my head on it. Exo cage is in the future.

Holy old thread.

Life changed. Many times since then. The cage is in Arizona on a buggy. Rolling chissis is local here, a friend bought it. Engine is in my garage and the cab went to a really nice restoration project in Illinois.

So, in other words, Wade is Lame... :doah:

Did the chassis get scrapped, or did someone finally buy it?

I never saw this the first time around.
