1971 K10 Custom/10 Tons\LSX

Sure looks clean sir!
Try to get the air cleaner out of the engine bay though, you'll see a massive change in IAT and you'll feel it too.

The truck looks great! I ran my pump in the stock tank when I first did the ls swap in my c20, that noise drove me nuts. Before I swapped to a blazer tank, I ran some sound mat on the tank and it helped a lot. Pretty sure it was some cheap 1/2" stuff from summit.

Mines actually frame mounted. It’s not bad. If I have it running for more than an hour or so it will get noisy.

Ok so being fully locked and with what I do want to use the truck for I think it’s time I focused on getting some flex out of the front suspension. Any 67-72 guys ever used the b-52 kit from DIY4x?

Saw in your thread you are running 52” 4” lift springs? I thought most guys ran stock Chevy rear springs?

Stock rear springs give you ~4" lift with the B-52's up front. Putting 4" lift 52's will net you ~8" of lift in the front

Ok I guess that’s what I figured. Didn’t think his blazer looked that tall. Wanting 4”. So I’ll need to find some stocks

Yeah it all depends on how you want to use your truck. 4" springs and the B-52 gets me about 8" of lift and its needed for running 38" tires with minimal rubbing/trimming. if you're running a skinny 37" or smaller tire then a stock height spring should work great and probably ride better.
