Looks good. Great idea on the beads too. I think I’m going to put them in the wheels for the Nomad I just mounted tires on. They balanced horribly. Like two wheels taking 7 ounces on the inside and 5 ounces on the inside.

Thanks. They seemed fine on the drive to work this morning. Before this I've only run beads in the crew cab so I wasn't sure how they would be in smaller tires.

I am now putting ceramic beads in all my tires.
I bought a bucket for a great deal so it is getting used
 
That is what the "D" in "Torque Thrust-D" means, Disc brakes.

A standard Torque Thrust is not designed to fit with disc brakes.

I think the O2 sensor must have failed. Went out to start the truck and once the sensor is warmed up, it jumps up to 22.8 and the engine doesn't run well. Since it's colder than a well digger's arse, I have done any further diagnostics. Not sure what else it could be short of an ECU failure, but let's not dwell on that possibility.
 
Could it be that is just needs more fuel when its that cold? Have you driven it that cold before? Its about 10 below zero here...
 
I have driven it in the cold temps last year. I was wondering about the fuel pressure, but I didn't take the time to pull up the PF4 app since it was so blinking cold and I was running late for a meeting. I have a coolant heater in the bottom radiator hose that was plugged in all day. Technically the engine was at about 70°.

How much of the engine is warm from that heater? Is there some kind of circulation pump?
 
I just uses natural circulation. It's supposed to be installed in the lowest point of the lower rad hose. Typically the coolant temp will drop about 10° once the engine starts so I figure that's the temperature of the rest of the block. It makes enough difference you can see the snow melt across the entire hood.
 
The heated coolant rises, pushing the cold coolant toward the heater!

Checked the PF4 diagnostics today and it was showing a red light for the O2 sensor.

I had already ordered a replacement. Didn't see anything visually wrong with the old one. It was black and sooty looking.

I only have 2 starts with the new sensor, but I'm certain the new one is much faster heating up into service. I always thought the old one seemed very slow to come online, especially compared to the crew cab efi.
 
Need new tires and I'm thinking about stepping down from the roughly 31" 265/75r15 I have now to smaller 235/75r15. Any thoughts?

I feel like the 31s make it look a bit stodgy as the brits would say.

I personally like the big tire/full wheel well look myself but it's your truck. Maybe a 245 series?
I like big tires and I cannot lie...

Just big enough that you don't rub when turning and you hit a bump.
I feel the same way and I'm leaning towards the 265s.

I didn't seem to be finding much between 235 and 265, but maybe the tire shop will.

I ran over a mud flap laying on the highway and it must have had a screw in it that put a hole in the tire. It could be fixed but the tires are at the end of their life.
